Ryder Park features two fishing ponds that are open to the public and easily accessible. To provide a family fishing experience, both ponds are heavily stocked, allowing kids and adults a greater chance of catching fish. This approach allows unfettered help from parents/grandparents while allowing families to engage in the sport. This is a great place for new anglers or kids to try their hand at fishing. The open landscape is ideal to learn to fly fish or brush up on other casting methods. Stocking occurs frequently from April through October to provide high catch rates.
