Expand Your Mind

Museums/Tours

Originally built as the Andrew Carnegie Library in 1916, the Museum of Idaho has become the premier destination museum in the Intermountain West. Recent traveling exhibits have included priceless bits of human history, including: the Dead Sea Scrolls, mummified Egyptian royalty, artifacts from the Titanic recovered from the ocean floor, and a complete Tyrannosaurus Rex skeleton named Sue. If you go, make sure to give yourself a few extra hours. You can walk out any time you like, but you can never leave. (OR) Getting in is the easy part. Getting out? Not so much.
